Is that req to re-do all the paper work for interview

Hi,
I am new reader of path2usa
Somebody advised me to do all the paper before going for appointment for visitor visa for my mother.Now, she got date of Nov 1st .& all the documents req has beeen prepared in July.I want to know is that required or better if I re-do all the documents right at the end of Oct or the old paper will still be good?

It is bettter to prepare the documents in October. One month old documents should be good enough rather than the ones done in July.
