Unutilised H1 Visa, which is now expired. Now I want a visitor Visa.

I was issued a H1B visa for USA 5 years ago. However, the validity of the same is over now and hence the same is of no use. Even the organistaion which has sponsored me has shut down.

Now I need to travel to the USA for business purpose and hence would require a Visa.

My queries are as :-
1. Since my previous Visa is not utilised, will it create a problem.
2. Since my previous Visa is not utilised, will it help getting a visitor vias faster.
3. The visa interview dates are scheduled till the month of Nov, whereas the event that I would like to attend is in 1st week Oct. Is there any to get faster interview dates and visa.

ur old h1 would not affect currnt b1 stamping in any way.
note that u must submit all required docs as mentioned on consulate website for b1 visa stamping.
for early dates please contact ttsvisas / VFS depending on the consulate.
