Hello,
I got my H1-B approved in May 2003. I would like to get it stamped. As the stamping time in Mumbai consulate is approximately a month these days, I thought of going to Canada to get it stamped before I leave for my visit to india in Dec. 03. But i am not sure, if the US consulate in Toranto will do that. I heard that they had stopped issusing such visas and have asked people to go back to india. This is my first H-1 and I was a student before this.
I would appreciate yr help :)

Hi

I am in process to file my revalidation for H1B visa. After a very long time I got the contact no. for visa office at Washington 202 663 1225. This will help you a lot. The time nowadays for revalidation is 6-8 weeks.

Thanks for the telephone number. What information can really they provide on it. Also are you certain that it takes 6-8 weeks only for revalidation ?? Is this 6-8 weeks from the time Washington receives the application from St, Louis ??

Your reply is highly appreciated. I need to book air tickets in November last week based on it
