EAD Details Wrong

Hi,

My Brother in Law had applied for his EAD. He is currently on a J2 Visa. He just got his EAD Today but the EAD says "FEMALE" instead of "MALE". I am not sure if the form was filled wrong or if there was any mistake on part of INS.

Has somebody gone through an experience like this ? Can somebody suggest what would be the next course of action ?

Does he have to file for EAD Again or can this EAD be changed ?

I think he should contact an attorney and get this mistake rectified.

Just visit the INS website for forms for corrections and send it by mail or go the INS office to submit in person or talk with an officer. take your birth certificate /passport.

you dont need to pay an attorney for this
