Hi This is Ravikiran.Iam new to the group.

I have applied for H1and got approved and went to sydney consulate on 5thAUG05.He gave me 221(g)asking for university transcripts masters(still to complete) and proof of skills.I got job based on my previous experience. And he has asked my masters transcripts.I took them and went again on 12AUG 05.But he said since all ur credentials are in india we are redirecting u to india. But he didn't writeit on passport indicating redirection. Also in H1 petition its written sydney as my port of entry.

Plz help me, wat should i do now.Need advice from senoirs members murali and ronline.

Are you an Indian national? It's always better to apply for visa in home country. You should apply in Indian consulate.

My port of entry is sydney. Is it necessary to attend the chennai consulate?.Bcoz some of the people have got stamped smoothly in sydney.

usually if a consulate redirects the application to home country then u must apply for visa stamp at home country with all required docs.
U may email the consulate at sydney and confirm this with them.

Consulates have become strict regarding this issue in recent days. In many cases it's not possible to varify the autheticity of documents and do background check in another country. That's why they redirect in home country.
