Visa Revalidation

I sent my passport on 23rd of October 2003 for visa revalidation and got it back on 3rd Feb 2004. I got my passport stamped even though I didn't have approval from current employer. Here is what I sent for the stamping,

1. I-797 Approval from previous employer.

2. copy of receipt and letter of employment from the current employer.
