Visitors Visa - inviting parents

Is anyone aware how much money needs to be shown on the bank statement for inviting parents to USA? Is there a figure or min. amount that needs to be shown?

there is no such amt specified by consulate
if u sponsor - anything from 10-15 k bank balance shld be good enough
