Hi !

I applied for my in laws for visitor visa in Mumbai. But it was rejected for insufficient ties. My father in law have 2 relatives in US. One my wife and other his brother. We thought that might be the reason. May be that they have an (bit stupid) algorithm which automaticly rejects visitors with multiple blood relatives as potential immigrants.

So we are applying only for my MIL now. That way,
1. She do not have multiple blood relatives here. Only her daughter.
2. She have reason to come back to India as her entire family including husband is in India.

The question I have is,
Do I need to send a new I -134 form for my MIL ?
On the I-134 we provided last time for her, there was mention of my Father in Law as acompanying her / joining her. That is not the case any more.

What do you suggest ?

Any other documents I need to send ? I guess latest paystubs ? any thing else ?
Any suggestions ?

Thanks

Rajesh

Blood relatives in USA may not be the only reason, as there are amny cases where people got the visa in first attempt depsite the fact that they have all theier children in USA. Interview is the key and demostrating strong ties abck to home country is very imporatnt.

Yes , you should preapre a new I134 with the new details.
