We have an appointment for my parents on Oct'05. And I am in the middle preparing the document for the same.
My father's name in his password and in mine are different. Just wondering whether that will cause any trouble?. Do I have to do some more formalities to cover this case?.
Any help on this matter is really appreciated!.
-thanks, Saravana.

Hi,
It would help if you mention how different it is. Is it just the arrangement of Surname, First name, etc or is it a different name altogether?

Thanks for the quick response on this!.
It is not surname/given name in the different order. It is how it is spelled. It spelled, '*****Sami' in mine and in my father, it is "*****chamy". Same with my mother, "****sila" vs., "****seela".

Hi,
The visa will be issued in the name as it appears on the passport. Ask your parents to take your birth certificate for proof. But let them produce it to the Consular officer ONLY IF he/she notices the discrepancy and put a question in this regard.
You can mail me at veena_swsh@yahoo.co.in for any clarifications.
