Hi,
We are applying Visitors visa for my In-laws from Mumbai consulate. They got the appointment in 3rd wk of August. The appointment was taken from VFS in June.We had sent all the documents in May end.We have moved to a new place in June and in their application form and the support form I sent has my old address.
1.My question is can they change the address on application form and take the stamp again from VFS or they have to provide the same form?

2.Do I need to send the support form again with the new address as I am sponsoring their visa and in my invitation letter I have written new address as I have sent all documents again like letters, recent paystubs, and recent bank statement as they got their visa date very late.I have also sent my new apartment lease document.

3.Is this going to create any problem? Is their anyway I can solve this problem?Do I need to go to VFS or Mumbai consulate enquiry center?

Thanks,
RAJ

hi,
Since you have 3 weeks, you can get all the paperwork with respect to adress redone. As far as the application goes, let your in-laws take a set of applications with the new addresses on it and hand it over at the time of interview. It is always better to go with the latest information. Hope you have a new phone connection. Provide them with numbers too! I know of a case where the application for visitor visa was refused because of no phone number.

Hi,

My situations is similar to yours explained above.
1. In-laws went to VFS on 7 Oct 05
2. Got date for inerview on Jan 20 06

Now, in Nov 05 I shifted to another apartment.

Can you please let me know how did your parents interview went?
What all papers they carried ?
Which question in this context were asked?
Were they had to resubmit the application at the time of Interview?

Please respond asap.

Cheers, VS
