gc holder sponsoring F1

I was wondering if anyone can suggest me abt the pros and cons of a green card holder non relative guy sponsoring the F1 visa of a girl . waiting to hear from u . regards

Preferably get it done through India, I would suggest not to show any link between the GC and you 'cause that might be a cause for rejection
