If rejected 3rd time is there is a restriction?

Hi Murali,
Mt mom is planning to go for the visa interview in november. this will be her 3rd attempt. if she gets rejected can she reapply for the next available date or is there any restriction ?

my friend told that if rejected 3rd time they have to wait one more year before they can reappear is that true ?

There is no such rule. You can apply as many times. There was a post on this forum from somebody whose Mom got her visa approved on the 10th try!!

Yes, as csigh said - There is no rule on number of attempts so do not worry and apply again
