Last year my parents were given 6 months visa and they had come to US for 6 months.
This year they wanted to come again. So my parents went for a visitor visa interview to Chennai in june this year again. Their visa was rejected. Not sure why the visa was rejected. Since I have a 10 month old daughter, in the support of affidavit i had mentioned my daughter as dependent and her age as 10 months. CO was asking questions about my daughter only like who takes care of her when I go to work etc... She then took my parents passport and verified the dates when they travelled last year. It was excatly 10 months. So may be she deduced that last year they had come to help me. Eventhough my parensts visited lot of places last year and also they had photos with them, she said she was not convinced. So it is neccessary to put my daughter's name in the affidavit? or what is the best thing in this scenario. Please someone advise.
They are going again sometime soon to Chennai consulate.
Thanks,
