parents visitor visa

My parents went to delhi embassy for interview ..my question is they received a letter saying that some administrative enquiry has to be made before final decsion can be made and that they will be called again.Visa officer gave them this letter and said they will get visa but embassy has to make some enquiry .She kept my passport copy which was issued here in USA ..Will my parents get visa.Has this happened in any other case.Visa officer did not give any lettre saying 214 b.Does that mean Visa is not rejected and may be they will get it. I would really appreciate any response from u guys ..Thank u

for administrative processing u shld hear from the consulate in a few weeks.
its not a denial just a delay.

I got a letter saying that administrative processing required.and they also kept my husband copy of passport and I 94..
anyhow lets see how things go!!

its almost 23 days still nothing ..lets hope for best as i am pregnant and i really need lot of

they must be working on some thing called admistrative process for verifying documents etc, Do call them and follow up..
