My parents got their visa on 9th June, thanks to all the help provided on this site.
The consular only asked questions to my father. They had opted for a Marathi
translator, however my father only used the translator if he did not understand
a question.
The questions asked were
1. Who is going to sponsor the trip ?
My son, but I also I have enough funds.
2. How much
XYZ. and my father showed the latest ATM receipt (He did not see it)
3. What is your son doing ?
4. What is your occupation ?
That's all.
By mistake, the visa's were stamped in-correctly (father's visa in mother's passport
and vice versa). So my parents went again and got it corrected. However since
the surname field in my mother's passport is blank (the entire name is written as
given name), the took the last of it and put it as her surname.)
I have two questions
1. If I buy insurance from India, does it cover the pre-condition business.
2. How about buying insurances from both the places. (If answer to 1 is yes)
3. Is VUSA beneficial ?
Regards,
Rahul
