View Full Version : is fingerprinting a sureshot way of knowing visa has been granted?

1. B1/B2 visitor visa - if the applicant proceeds for finger printing, is that an indication that the visa will be granted?
2. If the visa is being rejected - for lack of documents or for "not intending to cme back" - is it told on the same day? Or you know when the passports are shipped back to u?

Questions is of importance to me - because I am planning to book a ticket 7 days after the visa interview date and need to know whether the visa will be granted or not ASAP after the interview.

Help solicited.....

In Delhi, the first thing they do is take your fingerprint and then start with the interview, finger printing is in no way an indicator that they have been issued a visa, this is something that is done as part of the interview process.

if u were asked to pay the visa issuance fee - then ur visas are granted.
