View Full Version : Is it necessary disclose that wife's brother is in US

My wife's brother is in US - My in-laws are going for visa appointment - we have a question for this forum - do they need to disclose that their son and daugter both are in US ? or tell us consulate the lie that their son in india.

Anybody sees any issues with it ?

For this question-
U r the right person to know what to answer. Truth is the best thing to answer. But it really does not work the same way with the visa officers. If u really do not have any other intentions to get the visa other than tourist...then i dont think u have to reveal the truth if u think so...
I definitely see a percentage of rejection being more in ur case because both are in USA...
So for such questions u r the best person to judge..
if u decide to answer something other than truth then u should remember what u answer because those things are noted down and may be asked the next time they go..
