Hi,
I am inviting my parents on visitor visa.I have few questions.

1. Appointment at Mumbai consulate for visitor visa takes 72 days minimum, so should I send papers before they get an appoinment so that I can send latest documents (Back and employee letter etc)

2. I am on H1 and my visa expires in Dec 2005.Company is planning to file extension but as per policy they cannot file before 90 days.In the light of this information if my parents get an appointment in say October, will conculate argue that I do not have sufficient time on my H1 and may reject their visitor visa.

3. More simple question..if some one gets 6 months visitor's visa, how soon they have to travel..Like say my parent apply for visa now and by god's grace it gets approve. Can they travel in December. ??

I appreciate response.
Thanks

Go personally with all the documents on mumbai consulate or representative can also go on there behalf you will get apointment earlier ( atleast after one month < 72 days (if you are comparing with online visa dates)

if there visa is approved depending on for how much time they visa they can travel anytime with in that date .

With your H1 expiry it depends entirely on visa officer send them the renewal notice if they are going late for interview

Please take offline appt if u need earlier dates -
per the info on visa-services.com there are some additional slots available if u are able to apply in person.
u can travel any time within the visa validity period
