I got an appointment for mother on this 6th June under emergency as I was told by my doctor I need somebody's help during my pregnancy As I am suffering with depression and stress.
Her visa got rejected under 214(b).
She didn't fill the DS 156 form by her own, she got it typed. He assumed that he does not need to sign the form as it was not hand written.
1.The consulate officer asked mother, who completed the application?
Mother said by someone else.
2.He asked why it's not signed by him?
She gave the reply, that as it was typed he assumed no necessity of signing.
3.Why are you going to US?
She told my daughter is pregnant, so going to help her.
4.You said you don't have a daughter?
Mother got shocked, because the main reason coming here is the daughter's situation.
So she tried explain about my condition.
(What happened was in DS 156 form under item 37 mother opted NO against Son/daughter as she thought as I am not us citizen nor permanent resident)
5.Where is your daughter?
She started giving my address and the consulate officer stopped her and told he is not giving her the visa for that day.
My questions are:
1. He took all the papers sent by my husband. My mother asked for those documents, but the translator asked mother to leave. Do any of you have an idea, whether they'll return the sponsor papers or not?
2. He didn't put a refusal stamp in my mothers passport. Will they stamp the passport when the visa got rejected?
3. He didn't give a reason why he is not giving the Visa on that day. They simply gave the 214(b) form.
4. Will she get a chance to reapproval if she goes for another appointment?
I know I have lots questions, if anyone have suggestions that would be highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Valpas
