My parents visa got rejected twice.

First time on march 3 they only asked how long they wanted to stay.My father gave right reply but my mom gave time frame wrong not the one written in application form so their visa got rejected.

Second time they went back on march 18.This time they rejected saying how did you get an appointment so soon. They asked many rediculous questions too like.
1) why are u going to visit? for tourisma nd to visit my daughter and SIL.
2)What places r u going to visit?FL,NY,DC
3)R u not going to visit california?Maybe if my SIL has enough leaves.
4)Did you visit himalayas? No
5) why?Could never make it thats all.
6)who else is here in india? My younger daughter and Parents.
7)what is she doing?she is studying
8)when r u planning to get her married? After she finishes her education.
Then he started looking at my details My dad said my both daughters were born 8 yrs apart.
and then he rejected saying i don't know how u got appointment so early?Did you buy it.

I am not sure what my father could have answered differently last time.It is such a shame how they mock our parents.

Since i am pregnant with twins i need my mom here.My MIL is sick and cannot come.We got an appointment for them on june 13.My due date is may 31st.I have some queries.

1)Will it be ok if we change their appointment date to may(if we get it).Do you think they will reject again based on the same reason(it will be only 1 and 1/2 month since they last rejected.

2) Last 2 times they gave the reason as tourism.Should they go with the same reason.
3)Are all the previous interview details recorded?Including Q and answers.

U can reapply any number of times after a minimum of 3 business days from the i/v date.
I guess it should not matter how early or late the interview appt date is from the previous date.
U have an option on ttsvisas to reschedule appts to earlier dates if available - please mention this if asked.
As for reasons, tourism is generally a valid reason. There have been cases where applicants have shown doctors certificate for difficult pregnancy (due to twins) and the reason given at the i/v was based on that. Visas have also been granted in such cases- though this reason might not work always.

However, the consulate does have records of previous interviews. So it wld be better to stick to the original answers / reasons.
Please check for posts from others and plan accordingly.

Hello,
I am new to this site. So your suggestion is not to provide Preganancy as a reason for the parent's visist, even if the Doctor has indicated that the pregnancy is of high-risk in nature.

Thank you

I can't give a definite answer as it depends on the interviewing officer
In such cases, visas have been granted for some applicants - while there have also been refusals for the same reason
Please go thru the forum for similar experiences.
