Today i was reading a lot of people's experiences about their visitor visa rejection which also involved visa application expenses and on the top th e questions they have 2 face and get insulted..thats so bad....
I think we should all do something very serious about this. Like someone by name Bhaskar I guess suggested that we indians living in USA sign a petition stating that our parents should be allowed to visit us for a certain period of time and if the consulates wants assurance they can take the parents signature when issuing visa which will mention that the parents will not settle in usa and will go back to india. In case if some breaks this rules the consulates allways has chance to sue those parents who settle in usa after having signed the affidavit or whatever they might call....
ANY LAWYERS OUT THERE WHO CAN TAKE THIS INITIATIVE AND PREPARE PETITION PAPERs...OF COURSE WE NEED PEOPLE TO SIGN IT LATER...and I'M SURE THAT THERE WILL BE LOTS PF PEOPLE WILLING TO DO THIS...

Please take this seriously..
THANKS ALL...

I remember a smilar petition being circulated in 2003, which (I think) was addressed to the INS....but nothing came off it. :(

well.... we dont lose anything if we try again...Keep trying...
But again this entire process depends on how many people come forward to sign the petition..
i dont have any petition now..but request someone professional to take initiative.....
Hope we indians can show our unity atleast for such cause.

thanks again
