Hi all,
I have couple of questions.
My parents have appointment at chennai consulate in the end of april. When we were filling papers observed that my mother's last name was mentioned same as my father's lastname in my passport under parent's column. But in her passport which she applied few years later I got my passport , her lastname was mentioned as her maiden name. Now my parents are getting a notarized document saying the two lastnames refer to same person. My question to you all is, does anybody have any experience with similar situation, what is the appropriate action to be taken.
I am sponsering for my parents trip to USA, But my brother also lives in USA .We told our parents not to mention about his stay in USA when asked during interview. So they are going to say that he is in india. Is there a way that consulate find out that he lives in USA.
Is it risky? We havent mentioned any where in the documents about him staying at USA.
Thanks for all your suggestions.
