Dear Murali,
I am sending this message from San Jose.
My mom has an interview (B1/B2) on May 16,2005 at Chennai. We made a mistake of not requesting for an interpreter (Kannada - English) at the time of taking an appointment for an interview. When we tried to request now for an interpreter now,we were told that we have to take a fresh appointment which is some time in August.I thought that we could ask for an interpreter on the day of interview.
Please advise if you have come across such a situation like this in the past.A quick reply shall be highly appreciated.
Best regards.
Pramod

It is advised to take request for interpreter at the time of interview, becuse of the fact they have to plan and arrange for the resources accordingly.
Whether or not you will get it is matter of luck , in case they have some on eavilable they may provide else it is a risk.
