i have enquired with couple of universities in the US and the degree which im going to apply for which is masters in accountany dont need either the GRE or the GMAT.

i have previously studied in the UK earned a masters degree there and now want to proceed to US for that degree.

now the consulates in india ...how serious are they abt the GRE/GMAT scores??? ( its the uni which needs them but not the consulate i presme)

what are the chances of gettin a visa without GRE/GMAT.I have offcourse got GRE(09/08/2001), TOEFL (expired) and IELTS.

shall be lookin forward for any replies.will appreciate them

You guys might need to prove to the Consular Officer that the course work you are going to take up will not need GRE/GMAT or toffeel, but it depends.

If possible try to have it done as a transfer from one University to another with transfer of credits if not then get a future date for GRE and bring the receipt to the visa interview.
