Hi Murali and all senior members,

My husband came to usa on L1 in July and i came on L2 in augest. Our I-94 mentioned our status as L. This visa is valid is june 2007. We have sent D-156 and other docs to invite our parents here. and we mentioned our status as L visa. Meanwhile we had got the Advanced Paroll since GC processing for my husband was goiong on since last 2 yrs. This was before we sent the docs to India.
We had gone to cananda last week and while reentering USA the immegration officer took our old I-94 and gave us new ones whihc mention our status as AOS (Adjustment of status). Now we are worried if we should send this new I-94 to the visa consulate in India and is it wrong to mention to visa status as L on the D-156? Now if we send a new D-156 we will need to change the interview date and it will be sometime after 2 months which we don't want to do. Will this situation create any problems for our parents during the visa interview? Should we send the new I-94 and tell our parents to show it to the officer on the day of interview?
Please guide

Thanks,
Sonali

Do not worry , consulate do not go into such details.
Also the documents you sent were true at the date of sending the document.
take it easy...
