Will the electronics gods bought from US work in india ?

Hi,
Am planning to get a home theater system from the US. What do i need to get it to work here in India ?
If I use a voltage converter, the frequency is 60Hz. The US ones work at 50Hz. Will there be any disturbance due to this difference ?
Please help me out.

Yep it will work , the only issue id the Power and if you have power concverter thats all you need.

Got a bose home theater from Usa to india.
The day i connected with all converter etc..The players smoked out and some ics gone.Then i got another player and then had a step down which will not supply more volt .if more volt is supplied then the syetem goes down.now its ok...
