My parents got visa at chennai on monday. Four questions asked
1) how long is your son in us - 5/12 yrs
2) where is your second son - In africa (Interviewer gave a smile)
3) what is your occupation - retired teachers(both of them)
4) What is your individual pension - they replied with the appropriate numbers. It seems my dad refer to his notes to anwer this and the interviewer gave a smile
After these questions interviewer said , "you will get your visas in couple ofdays" and he did not say how long he is going to issue the visa.

The only worry for me is as I posted earlier, parents passport information is swapped in tt visa database,(against my fathers passport no my mothers information is printed). Hope chennai embassy does not use the same info to stamp the visa.
