Qns on location for applying and status..Urgent help plzzzz....

Hi,
I have 2 questions.
1. My parents plan to visit me in US. They live in Tamilnadu, and they have gone to visit my brother in Mumbai now. My brother has a permanent residence in Mumbai. Can my parents apply for the visitors visa from Mumbai consulate? They dont have address proof in Mumbai, whereas my brother has. Will this be an issue?
2. I am waiting for Adjustment of status, and my finger printing appointment is on April. I am right now on Advance parole. My advance parole is expiring in August 2005 and I can apply for renewal only in May 2005 as per my lawyer. Therefore, when my parents go for visa, the validity of my advance parole is only till Aug 2005 (which is only 3 months valid). Does this mean that they will grant my parents visa only for 3 months?

1. Logically, they can apply based on thier residency so if they have been living in some other place for the last 12 months, thats where they should apply ( in your case Cheanni).
However if you think thay will remain in bomaby for some time and they are not working back in thier home state they may apply in Mumbai. ( also check with VFS)

2. Dont worry abt it, as long as your status is legal at the time of submitting the document is there, there is no prob and consulate officer knows all other things AP.
