Hi,
I got an appointment at tt services for my parents.
While printing the receipt I found out, against my father passport no my mothers informations is displayed and against my father passport no, my mother information is displayed. Not sure if I entered the information like this or it is a problem with ttservice.

The reciept says these information will be used to process the visa, I tried contacting the ttservices they say I have to cancel the appntm and enter a new one with correct information.

But I dont find any appointments for next 3 months. Please let me know what to do in these situation. Can I go head with the current appointment, I have entered the proper information in the visa application forms.

I dont see this as a major problem.
Becuase of the fact that this information is only for the appoitment and rest of the information is really referred from the visa application form.
Since there no other appointment available for next few months , I would say let it be and just go for the given time and date. It should not be a problem.

Thats what I was hoping to do. I can't believe consulate will use tt service information for processing the visa. But I was just worried about the following clause in the receipt

"The personal data you entered during the appointment process is displayed below. This information will be used in processing your visa application. Some of this information will appear on your visa. Please ensure the entries you made are correct and inform the TT Services office if any corrections need to be made. Please pay particular attention to ensure your name, date of birth, place of birth, and passport details are correct. Any erroneous entries will delay the processing of your visa application and could result in difficulties with U.S. Immigration."

The note is certainly makes us think.
Here are the 3 things you can do.

1. If you can wait and re not in hurry to you can cancel this one and create a new one for the next available one. You may also keep trying for any waiting list if any.

2. Do try to call TTS ofice again and request if they can do somting abt it if possible at any extent . I think if you talk to any senior person in their staff that may be useful since the people answer call doesnt have enough knowledge and they just trained to give "copy Paste" kind of standard answers.

3. Take this risk and send them for the interview , it may work out.

So you have to make the decision.

swapping information was not a problem.

First they have stamped with the swapped information and have cancelled the visa saying "cancelled without prejudice" , then on the opposite page they have stamped the visa with the correct information.

some QA check has happened within embassy
