Hello,

My parents visa got rejected (214(b)). I am the only child for my parents, and I am on H4 visa. My husband sponsered visa. My parents attended interview on 3rd march @ Chennai. Below are questions they asked:
For my mother:
1. How many childrens?

For my father:
1. Where is your brother? (One of my father's brother is in US since 10 years now on GC).
2. When did he left to US? (Exact date)
3. What is his DOB?

My father was not able to answer the last 2 questions properly. They rejected their visa. We are planning to setup an appointment again. But nothing available until July. Is there a way to get early appointment? How to setup wait list? Any idea on why did they rejected? Is it because I am the only daughter to my parents? Any suggestion on how to prepare for next interview?

Thank you in advance.

interview is the key for visa grant.
Must prepare them for the terview well : read this
http://www.path2usa.com/immigration/visitorvisa/inter_preparation.htm

They can surely apply again, I heard that if you keep trying looking for availability you may find something earlier if some one cancel.
Search on this forum for similar post and you can find good tips on this topic as well.

Thank you for your quick response Murali.

We got another appointment for my parents for March 9th just now. Could you please let us know if we have to send any other documents for them? Do we have to send my uncle's documents? If yes, could you please let me know what documents do we have to send? We prepared questions for them from path2usa, other than those question do you have any suggestions for the interview?

Thank you.

1) Check the document list posted on this website and follow it.

2) In terms of your father's brother, your father should know 1) When he went, How (visa), and when he got his GC, Why he is not sponsoring him? and a copy of his GC will be enough nothing more.

3) Prepare him for the interview and remember body language is key.

Bobby,

How did get the appointment so early again? In TTS site there is no waitlist option and also u can modify/cancel appointment only 5 times a day. Because of this 5 times restriction, i can't even keep refreshing every minute. Also i can't even waitlist.

I'm really desperate to get an early appointment for my wife and kid.

Please let me know what did u do. I need ur help.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

My parents got visa this time. They asked about my uncle, but very few questions.

Thank you so much for all your help.
