Hi,
My in-laws are planning to visit us sometime next month and they will be staying with us for 5-6 months. They have gone for their visa interview couple of days ago and they got their visa only for 3 months, expiring end of April.

Could someone let me know what this means? Does that mean they have to enter US before that or they can stay in the US only till end of April? I am planning to ask them to contact TTK services about this. I am not sure why they were issued a 3-month visa when we clearly mentioned the dates of travel as Feb 2004 and length of stay around 5 months.
I have read some experiences on the path2USA site, where there was a mention of getting 6-month i-94 on a 3 month visa. is that possible?

Thanks in advance for the help..

Cheers,
Prasad

they should enter into USA with the expiry of the visa date given on the Visa Stamp.
Howeevr the lenght of thier actual stay will be govrned by the Date of I94 given at the POE in USA airport at immigration counter.
