Hello,
my parents are attending an interview in feb. I have 2- sis in canada..I heard nowdays they are issuing only 3-6 months visa..is their anyway in the documents where I can ask for 10yrs multiple entry visa. Since we are planning to have our parents visit us 2yrs once..and I dont want them to go for an interview everytime they wish to come here...If anybody's parents got 10yrs visa can you send the invitation letter that you had sent to ur parents. Thanks

There is no separte mthods/rules for 10yrs visa, its completely up to the officer who issue the visa.
You may put your request for 10yrs visa in your letter to consulate.

my parents got 10 years visa yesterday 29th at chennai ,
my guess is if your parents have strong ties in india and can give straight forward one-to-one answer to consulars officer's questions ...like Sponsers pay, dob , address , age , field of work all these details Plus they need to tell that they have some responsibities in india like another's sons marriage etc etc and also if sponseror was/is working for more than 5 years with out a pay loss and if he is paying Good amount of taxes to US gov for all these years and if parents around 60 Plus age ...i guess there are more chances of getting 10 years of Visa ( I am telling based on three surveys with the people who got 10 years visa ) .
