as i told u that my daughter is in a family way.so i want to visit my daughter( on non-immigrant visitor visa).i know there r doctors , nurses to take care of her better than from india but just to be present at the time of new one.its my desire to see the birth of my grandchild. i will be back within 3-4 months.
no other reason is there to visit USA. i have to sure come back as i m in job, my one daughter is unmarried. my husband is here. my daughter (living abroad)send me all required papers( sponser's letter , doctor's letter etc) and also effidevit in which she mentioned that she is bearing my expenses there along with fair tickets.when i
go for interview, on first window i gave only visa application form(no other paper) , passport and draft.he asked me "who is living in usa?" i told " my daughter"
then he asked " from how many years she is living there ?" i told " from five years" . then i go inside the interview room .i told them that i need translator coz i can understand english and even i can speak but not so fluently. so i suppose to give answers in hindi. there the person sitting asked " why u choose only america to send ur daughter ?" ,"why u send ur daughter so far?" i told " my daughter is intelligent and her father was interested her to send usa for higher studies.but in the mean time some of my relatives living usa puposed guy for her and thus on fiancee visa she reached there". then he asked " was that guy american ?" i said " yes coz he was born in america and person born in america and living there is called to be an american ".after this the consulator asked me to give file and asked " what is ur daughter doing there?" .i gave the file and answered " she is researcher in UCI (irvine )but they didn't see my file they opened it for a while and closed it. and the translator asked " being an indian how come u decided to marry ur daughter with an american ?" i replied " both were having understanding between them so it work out."i don't know where was the problem in my answer that they just decided not to give me visa . when i asked why u r not granting me the visa the translator said that " mam u have not been able to convince the consulator and they issued me 214(b) letter. now u pls tell me where is the problem . i have written u same to same wordings which happened there. but what i want to tell u more is that my daughter who was married to that american guy , marriage didn't work. it can be her destiny. its nobody's fault.now after three years she married someone else. u tell me is this the cause that they refuse me? or what can be reason ? and now as i know there r three chances to appear for interview so this i m asking u can i try again to appear there? i have just this month. her due is in feb end. waiting ur reply.pls tell us where is the mistake ?
