i am vikas chopra .i am a veterinarian from punjab and i am doing masters in sweden ,i applied in one organisation in usa for volunteer work for rew months and they are ready to allow me to work there .but it is not clear to them either or me that what kind of visa i sholud apply ,i also want to know about the documentation required and whether i have to go to the the india or i can apply visa from sweden only .pl take the trouble of sending me information.

One ting is sure, You can't work in any way on visitor/tourist visa B2 in any way.
Depends on what kind of volunteer work work you want to do , you may qualify for a B1 visa you need to get more details from the organization.

wth reference to your reply .i am sending this mail .i am going to US as animal volunteer, i will not work their .i will work as volunteer without salary ,free of cost .now can u help me to find out the type of visa catogory i have to apply, i contacted the organisation .even they do not know about the type of visa i have to apply.
