1 Yr. Multiple Entry Visa, what about I-94

I have got a 1 year multiple entry visa. On the DS-156 form i had mentioned period of stay to be 1 month. What period of stay would i be given on the port of entry on I-94. Will it create a problem if I ask the officer at port of entry for a 3 month stay. I am 26, single, running a business, going to visit my brother, How should I convince the officer at port of entry to grant me a longer stay. Lastly, what should be the gap between two entries in a multiple entry visa.

The actaul stay wil be determine by I94 date given by the officer, the officer may determin that based on some questions he may ask you at POE.
what you provided in I156 should not matter here and they dont refer for such information. so take it easy
