Hi,
I am inviting my parents who live in Mumbai to visit me in California.
However my parents will not be able to visit together, they'll be coming separately
at different times. The question I had was whether they can still apply for the visa
at the same time. It will probably be a little easier on my mother who is a little
apprehensive of the process.
If this is possible, can they indicate that their travel times will be different in their
visa interview/application ?
My father wants to visit in March this year for a month or two and my mother is planning
to visit in July for 4-5 months.

Thanks in advance,
-Neerja.

I don't see that as a problem; your parents can go together for the interview.

When they chose to travel does not matter as long as it is within the validity of their visas.

Thanks for your response. Would I be able to use the same I 134 for them, or would it be better to use different I 134s ?

One I-134 should be fine. The bottom line is you should make them go for the interview togeather and once they get the visa have them travel at different times. Once a visa is issued you can enter even on the last day of validity. So dont complicate the process just have them apply togeather.
