Hi,

My parents came on Visitor's Visa in Aug' 2004 for six months. They got 10 yrs Visa. We r thinking of extending our mom's stay for 3 more months (Current I-94 is there till Feb 18Th 2005). I got application form I-539. How much time it takes to get verdict on extension.

Could any body suggest what & how make it happen. I mean what reason I shd gave to make it work out and do I need to provide any evidence for that. Suppose I filed extension and verdict came negatively after current I-94 expiry, will it lead to illegal stay ?

Please some body should help us.

Thanks,

You can give any genuine reason and there is no strict rule to provide evidence, you may specially if it is due to medical problem etc.
