Hi,
I am currently on an L1B visa and I was planning to sponsor my mom's trip to the US this summer. Her visa appointment has also been booked in the last week of March. However there is now a probability that I might have to go back to India sometime in April, quit my job and come back on a B1 business visa.
In that case, if my mom gets her visa stamped and then my visa changes from an L1 to a B1 a few weeks later, is her visa still valid, and will she be able to make a trip? Or does my visa status change automatically invalidate hers?
Would really appreciate a speedy response.
