VISA reapplied getting too long for reply

Hi ,

My parents VISA was rejected on 214b term they reapplied with more documents and sent papers via courier to schedule an appointment. This is nearly two weeks now and there no reply from embassy.

Do anybody has some experience like this.

Provide more details like which consulate etc?

That is in Mumbai Consulate and the application is for reconsideration. They got rejected 1 week before resubmittion.
