Does radio ,in car stereo bought in US, work in India?

I have Kenwood EZ500 in my car in the US. Kenwood 50W x 4 Sirius/HD Radio-Ready CD Deck with MOSFET MP3/WMA Playback .

Planning to take it to India and install in my car in India? Will the radio pick up FM/AM etc?

I read in an earlier post that CDs should work fine...but what abt radio?

Hey ragwho,
It will work absolutely fine.
The radio frequencies work same all over the worls unlike the TV or video frquencies, where we have different systems like PAL, NTSC, SECAM etc.
But Radio's are just fine. Go ahead and enjoy it in India.
