passport observation page

Hi,
Does anyone know what passport "observation" or "remarks" page is?
We need to submit some documents and was wondering what is mean?
Does it mean the visa and i94 page?

Read all the pages on your passport. At the end you will find a page that says observations or remarks. If not, you probably have a new passport and they discontinued that page. Forget about it then.

I did find 2 pages of observation but no remarks page.
