Hello,
I have a Masters from USA and I am working in the meachanical feild coz I have all my degrees in that feild. I am going to India for visa stamping in a couple weeks. Now many questions are arising.
1) In the form DS156 , Column 25 the question is where will you stay in USA
As I am married and already working in USA can I give my spouse name and my apt address.
If so one of my freind was saying that I should have married status in my passport. Is that true. I got my passport longtime back and is valid until 2011. But in that It says single. I am just in total dilemma as I am leaving to india on NOv 25th. I got married in 2007 in India and my husband is working as a software consultant and we live together. We filed the tax jointly after our wedding.
2) I was a teaching assistant at my school when I was doing masters.
Can I mention the previuos employer as school where i studied. If so Do I need to get any experience letter. I have all my I20's and copies of offer letters from the school( university).
3) I was reading and following the website about the documentation needed.
It says client letter what is that.
After my graduation I directly joined in a job in my feild mechanical Engineering.
Do I need to take any letter from my manager describing my duties.
Please guide me on this regard.
