No I-797 letter although USCIS website H1B Approval notice sent....

Hi everybody,

I had applied for H1-B through my employer (a large IT company in India) in April 2008. The USCIS website mentions that my case has been approved and the notice sent on Aug 7, 2008. But my employer says that they have not received the I-797 approval letter.

Can someone guide me how to find out as an individual what happened to my I-797 ?

wait for 30 days, if still not received, ur company lawyer has to contact uscis. also 1 copy goes to lawyer, but that same copy cannot be used to get the stamping.
