H4 Driver license renewal

Hi,
My Husband H1 visa got renewed in India recently. But I didnt go along with him for my H4 renewal, My Driver license permit is till oct 2009, Can I show my Husband's docs in the DMV to renew my License or Do i need to go some country for stamping ??

Some DMV's cannot accept (or understand) extension documents; they only work with real cards/ visa stamps etc.
What state are you in? Maybe the DMV website of your state will have some more information on this.

I live in Delaware and we verified with DMV with the documents of approval notices. They said, I need to approach USCIS office in DE. Is there any other options to get my husbands H1B status updated to USCIS office by calling them / asking them to update based on approval notice documents I have for H4 and H1?

I think it might be worth it to just go to the DMV and apply for your license renewal with your H4 approval and new I-94. It looks like they verify everything on SAVE in any case. I might be mistaken, but it looks like they run the I-94 number thru it to verify your status?
