My H1B expires September 30, 2009. My company applied for LCA twice and both times rejected due to Company FEDID # not valid. Our HR says she used the same ID for myself and other employees in the past and it used to work, only this time we are using the new LCA process. Our HR is trying to contact DOL but apparently it is a slow process... such as leaving a message and them getting back (oof)...anyone had any experiences? Please advise..the goal is to get this LCA over with and apply for premium processing for extension of stay...

I understand your feelings. Nothing can be done until your employer contacts through email to the respective DOL that is Chicago center or Atlanta. Further your employer has to send documents mainly Proof of Federal Employer Identification & Proof of Business Entity as an attachment to prove the company Federal ID.

Thank you....Do you know a ballpark on the turnaround time after submission of these documents that you mentioned? I understand after this process, I need to reapply for the lCA, wait for a week and then apply for I-129.

HI,
Even i received the same "Company not found error" when we applied for LCA. My attorney said she filed 14 cases belonging to various employers along with me and everyone received the same error. Will the documents u listed are enough to reapprove my LCA. Dunno why these kind of errors are happening....
