hi,

My q is about the required submission of docs to the Visa consulate 3 days before actual interview date. One of the docs mentioned to be submitted is "Photocopy of the passport pages bearing “Observation” or “Remarks”.

Does this also mean that a photocopy of the page bearing the ECR/ECNR status is required to be submitted? or is this point only meant for the "Observation" page in the passport ( "Miscellaneous service", "Observation" is a separate page in passport) I ask this q coz my mom has a ECR for which we have given her passport to the passport office to modify it to ECNR. It will be modified by day after tomorrow.
Now, if a photocopy of this page is submitted today which has status as "ECR" ( the docs have to be submitted today) along with other docs, then on the actual interview date, the passport would have a ECNR and there would be a difference of data. Can someone urgently advise as we need to submit the docs today at the consulate.

Thanks!!

Submit the documents as they are now and when she goes for the interview, if asked by VO, explain the situation that you submitted the passport for endorsement after submitting the visa application.

Thnx. but is a photocopy of this ECR page even required? they have mentioned "observation" or "remark" page. there is a separate page in the passport called "miscellaneous service" and "observation". i was guessing they meant this page....can you suggest?
