visa queries

hello all,
i am new to this forum, but really found it very helpful. i would be grateful if someone could help me out.
the guy at the HDFC bank entered my date of birth incorrectly in the visa fee receipt. by the time it came to my notice it was like five business days.. when i called up the help centre at vfs mumbai consulate they told that it will not matter. but now when i tried to schedule an interview its not working out for me. any advice in this regard would be appreciated thanks

When creating the application, try entering the date of birth same as the one entered when you purchased the HDFC receipt. I do not recall whether the same date appears prefilled in the application form. If it appears, don't worry, when you go for the interview tell the VFS person that the date of birth is wrong. They will correct it for you.
