Visa Delivery after visa issuance

Hi My Parents have gone to the visa consulate in hyderabad and they got their visa and i have a question on the visa delivery process.

I have choosen the option to pick up the visa at basheerbagh location hyderabad.and my parents got the information that they will be sending the visas to the home adress in a week.

does any one have the similar experience, if so please let me know.

Normally you would not be able to collect the passport from the courier office. Either you can take the passports from VFS center on the day it is handed over to them (for this you have to keep on looking the status on VFS website's Track your passport option) or wait until it is delivered by blue dart which may take 3 to 5 days after stamping.
