My sister who is married had applied for B2 visa in aug 2008 and was rejected due to not enough social ties reason. My husband had sponsored her, and since my b-in-law would not be interested in visiting US my sister had applied alone, she had strong ties due to the fact that she had her hysband, son and extended family , property, parents etc back in india to return back. However me who is on H1 B was not working at that time when my sister went for interview and i was out of status for almost an year. Now i am working since 4 months once again and my H1 extension also recently got approved. not sure if my visa status was also one of reasons at that time for my sisters B2 visa rejection, as she was also questioned about my job during her interview.
Now i am planning to re apply for my sister's B2 visa again. I also have a brother who is working and is 25 yrs old. I ma currently thinking of applying for both my brother and my sister together hoping that my brother can take english interview and prepare well for interview as my sister doesnt speak english and i need to wait for local language appointment.
I would like to get any of your suggestions is its even a good idea to apply for bothe sister and brother together at the same time this time, or would it be better to just apply for sister for 2nd time. Please advise
