Names of people travelling with you...urgent!!!!

I'm filling out ds156 for my parents sister and neice as the sponsor inviting them for my marriage. My brother in law has a valid 10 year visa, is going to "travel" with them - in the sense they will be on same flight, but he is not going for the interview, I'm not filling out ds156 for him and I'm not sponsoring his visit here. Should his name be mentioned in the names of people travelling in DS156 for the other 4 applicants. My concern is if his name is listed there and when my parents and sister and neice ar interviewed and he is not there, it might cause an issue.

I don't see any problem in mentioning your BIL's name. In any case, your sister should carry a copy of his passport and visa (to show that her husband is going to travel with her and her child)...so it should be alright.
Don't get to stressed about this, its not a major issue!
